That's good Darry - just take one step back..... Posted by Hello

Hi! This is a copy of the e-mail that I sent out containing the first set of questions that people responded to. Please feel free to respond to them yourself. (I'm just after your opinion.)
Thanks again for volunteering to help me with the market research part of my quest to eke out a living with my motorcycle.
My thinking is that it would be a hoot to cruise around someplace like the Caribbean Sea with a group of people and their bikes. At each port of call we could disembark and cruise around for most or part of the day and then return to the ship and our “floating hotel room” for the night. Then get up the next day and do it again!
However, I’m new to motorcycling and have never been on a cruise, so I need your OPINION on some of the ideas I have in order to find out what other people really want.
You see, success in business is simply finding out what people want and then giving it to them at a price they can afford.
That’s why I need to ask questions first to find out what you and others THINK might be worthwhile.
You’re on my list because you are a motorcycle rider. I don’t care if you’ve ever been on a cruise or not, just tell me what you think. Respond to the questions as if you have the time and money to do anything. All I want to know is, if you had the time and money would you…whatever? Please keep that in mind when you respond.
I’ll start with 4 or 5 questions and then keep repeating the process every few days until I get all the answers. Please respond as soon as you can so we can keep the process going.
I’ll try and word the questions so that you can respond with one word or A, B or C type responses. Of course you can always expand on the answers if you want.
I’ll number the questions so your response could be as simple as hitting the reply button and doing the following:
Yes
B
Winter
Maybe
After the first round of answers (and when I’m sending out the next round of questions) I’ll try and give you a summary of the responses from the previous questions so you’ll know what I know!
Now, having said all that, I’m sure I’ve forgotten something really important but what the hell, you’ve got to start somewhere so here goes!
I’m going to assume that (because of my initial email to you) you think that this concept of combining cruising and motorcycling has merit so, based on that:
Rank the following scenarios from best to worst. What would be the best situation? A) Having your own motorcycle on board B) Having a rental bike on board C) Renting a bike at each port
Many people ride “2-up”. How important do you think it is for the passenger to have the option of riding every day or taking days off to “relax” on board or explore the port on foot or with other people on a tour? A) Very important B) Somewhat C Not important at all
Most cruise ships (it seems) cruise A) The Caribbean Sea or the B) The Mediterranean Sea. If money were no object, which would you choose? Do you have a 3rd choice? If so, where would that be? C) _______
What time of the year would be best for a Caribbean or Mediterranean cruise? A) Winter B) Spring C) Fall D) Summer
Thanks for now.
Talk to you again soon.
